Bennett Hill Preserve Trails

Short loop system (< 3 miles) of steep rocky terrain and some carriage roads. Trails owned and maintained by the Albany County Land Conservancy. Only prohibitions posted are No Hunting and No Motorized Vehicles.

[edit] Directions

From Albany take Route 443 (Delaware Avenue) west through Clarksville. Make a left onto Clarksville South Road (Rte 312), and almost immediately bear left on Bennett Hill Road. Sometimes the sign for this road is missing. Continue on about 0.5 miles and turn right to the Preserve entrance in an old field. If you pass Bennett Hill Farm, you went too far. Park in the mowed area. Trail surface is primarily shale and limestone.
