Details: Last year Iron Horse and Rocky Mountain bicycles joined forces with Eastern Mountain Sports (Stuyvesant Plaza) to provide one evening of unforgettable riding at Thacher Park. Riders came from all over the Capital Area to experience the two most sought after brands in mountain biking today. Iron Horse hails from Long Island, New York City with ground braking technology in full-suspension MTB designs with their patented dw-link (http://www.ironhorsebikes.com/). In 2006 the Iron Horse brand celebrated the success of pro Downhill World Champions Sam Hill and Sabrina Jonnier. Rocky Mountain bicycles, designed and tested by mountain bikers in British Columbia, Canada (the Mecca of mountain biking), are one of the leaders in the mountain biking industry as well. Riding for Rocky Mountain since '95, Wade Simmons proves his dedication to the brand and has been regarded as the best mountain biker to ever ride Vancouver's North Shore. With a long list of magazine covers, film segments and profiles in various forms of mountain bike media around the world, Wade Simmons is, undoubtedly, the King of the freeride movement. Rocky Mountain has set the standard in the industry for workmanship and quality with bikes like the newly designed Slayer and Element full-suspension bikes. Don't miss this opportunity to test ride bikes from both comapnies!
