The Mohawk Hudson Cycling Club consists of over 700 members who live and cycle in the greater Capital District area of eastern New York State. MHCC sponsors road and also mountain bike rides within an 80-mile radius of the Albany-Schenectady-Troy area, led by MHCC members for beginning through experienced riders. Curious? The Fats in the Cats bicycle club is a fun bunch of mountain bikers that look for ways to foster cycling and community. The club organizes group rides and performs trail maintenance as well as giving back to the community through our Gifts for the Holidays program and being advocates for bicycling. Become a member of Fats in the Cats.

Saratoga Mountain Bike Association (SMBA) is a group of mountain bikers responsible for maintaining trails located just north of Skidmore College on Daniels Road in Saratoga Springs, NY. SMBA is also a group of mountain bikers that love to ride. Members maintain a 538 acre tract of land that holds some of the most versatile and fun mountain biking terrain in all of northeastern New York. SMBA is a member supported club with annual dues of $40 a year for an individual or $55 for a family. SMBA member dues go directly to the cost of maintaining the lease upon the land our trails are on, paying for our insurance, and the club's IMBA and USA Cycling memberships. Become a member of SMBA.

LUNA Chix ladies are dedicated to getting more women into sports and outside to play! At the same time, we raise awareness and money for the Breast Cancer Fund. Luna Chix consists a group of women who go to work everyday and swim, play, run or ride as often as they can. We are also a diverse group, from moms to single women; teachers to accountants; casual sports enthusiasts to competitive athletes. Each of us know all too well what's it is like to be intimidated by getting into a new sport and the unending search for fellow women who enjoy the same active pursuits.

Renegades bike club was founded to create a venue for riders in southern Ulster county, NY. With fuel prices rising and the "go green" revolution in full stride a group of us felt that we should try to ride closer to home. The two main goals of our club-bring the adventure back to mountain biking by exploring off the beaten track trails throughout the Hudson Valley. Second-build and maintain single track mountain bike trails for all to enjoy.

A non-profit educational association whose mission is to create, enhance and preserve trail opportunities for mountain bikers worldwide. Since 1988, IMBA has been bringing out the best in mountain biking by encouraging low-impact riding, volunteer trailwork participation, cooperation among different trail user groups, grassroots advocacy and innovative trail management solutions. IMBA's worldwide network includes 32,000 individual members, more than 450 bicycle clubs, more than 130 corporate partners and about 200 bicycle retailers. IMBA's members live in all 50 U.S. states, most Canadian provinces and in 30 other countries.

Troy Bike Rescue (TBR) began in 2001 and has evolved into a network of volunteers and supporters who come together to recycle and redistribute used bicycles and teach bicycle repair. We are located in the basement of the Trinity Institute, 15 Trinity Place, Albany, New York, and are generally open from 6-8 pm on Wednesdays. At the Trinity Institute, we host classes for kids and adults. Generally, the classes meet from 6-8 pm on Wednesdays and last for six weeks. During the course, students learn how to completely disassemble and reassemble a bicycle, as well as make minor repairs. Also, volunteers restore donated bicycles for sale and/or donation to members of the community. Proceeds of sales are applied to the purchase of tools and supplies. Finally, community members are invited to work on their bicycles or restore one of our donated bicycles. In exchange for a complete restoration of a donated bicycle, they are given a bicycle. Outside of the Trinity Institute, when invited, we set up shop to repair bicycles at various community events which attract bicycle users.

NYBC's Mission is to provide a coherent, credible voice for the interests of all bicyclists in the state, on- or off-road, recreational or racer. We achieve this by working with existing cycling clubs in New York and interested individuals.

I am soooo fake pre-loading this image so the navigation doesn*t skip while loading the over state. I know I could use the sliding doors technique to avoid this fate, but I am too lazy.
