Woods Hollow Nature Preserve

[edit] Description

Beginner trails and carriage roads located on 130 acres, formerly the site of a public water supply reservoir, and then a reforestation area pine plantation. Trails are owned and maintained by the Village of Milton. Gentle rolling hills with easy terrain and very few technical features. Great for winter sports as well.

[edit] Directions

‘’’From Saratoga Springs’’’- Take Route 50 south to the traffic light at Northline Road at the north edge of Ballston Spa. Turn right and go west on Northline Road to the main preserve entrance on the right a short distance before Rowland Street. Parking is on the right side of the road. Main trail goes north from this entrance.

‘’’From Albany and points south and east’’’- Take I-87 north to Exit 13N. Go north on Route 9 to first traffic light. Turn left onto Old Post Road. Continue to the end of the road at Northline Road (about 1 mile). Turn right on Northline Road and find the main entrance as described above.
